"Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!

Sing to the Lord, all the earth."

Psalm 96:1

Music is an important component of worship.  God speaks to our hearts through His message in song, and we in turn lift our voices to praise Him ... "to sing to the Lord a new song!"  The Bible tells us that we are all born with distinct talents and gifts that set us apart from each other.  We invite you to join our choir to share your God-given talents through music.  Discover the talents that God has given you and use them to glorify Him!

Gum Swamp Choir

Join us for practice on Sunday's at 6:00 p.m.

Our choir is led by Charles Tucker, Director, and accompanied by Cathy Malin, Pianist.  Each week we practice on Sunday's at 6:00 p.m. as we prepare special music for our worship services. In addition, the Gum Swamp Choir presents cantatas (or musical dramas) annually during the Easter and Christmas seasons.

The psalmist tells us in the scripture that we all should "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."  So, we invite adults and students (Grades 6 & up) who would like to be a part of our choir to join us for rehearsal, as we prepare our hearts, minds, and voices to give our best to God ... as we "come before His presence with singing."
