"Founded in faith..."

As our motto states, Gum Swamp Church was "Founded in Faith" by our ancestors more than 250 years ago.  It was their desire that we become a beacon to the community and that we continue to shine our light in drawing others closer to Christ.  "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."--Matthew 5:16

"...Growing in God's Word..."

As each year passes, our faith in God continues to grow stronger by hearing and studying His Word in our Sunday Morning Bible Fellowship and Worship Service, as well as our weekly Small Group Studies offered for all ages. You are invited to join us as we continue to "...grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."     -- 2 Peter 3:18

"...Sharing His Love."

The members of Gum Swamp Church seek to share the Love of God through fervent, effective outreach to those seeking a new or enlightened walk with Him. We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission as we "go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."      --Matthew 28:19

The ABC's--A Simple Plan of Salvation

Would you like to be saved

and make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of your life?

If so, it's as simple as A-B-C!

All you have to do is:

ADMITConfess to God that you are a sinner.  Repent or turn away from your sin.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us

from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:9

BELIEVE:  Trust that Jesus is God's Son and that God sent Jesus to save people from their sins.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

John 3:16

COMMITGive your life to Jesus. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior.

"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Romans 10:13

If you are ready to make a profession of faith by admitting, believing, and committing your life to Jesus Christ, feel free to contact our interim pastor, Rev. Gary Bailey.  He will gladly pray with you and lead you to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
